Panitas VenezuelanFood was born out of that spirit of friendship and family. More than just a business, we are the dream come true of a family of immigrants who, with immense love and great resilience, decided to bring the most authentic flavors of their homeland to West Palm Beach for the enjoyment of Venezuelans, Latinos, and gringos alike, because everyone has the right to experience and enjoy the delights of Venezuelan cuisine.
This wonderful adventure began in 2020 and arose from two sources: a conversation with friends where we highlighted the fact that there was no place in this city where you could get Venezuelan food with the typical seasoning and characteristics of our country, and the compliments from people who visited our home, whom we welcomed with freshly made empanadas and who were fascinated. So we said, “Why not?” We began very timidly with our first venture, “Empanitas” (a fusion of the words empanada and panitas), but as time went by, we realized that this name was too closely linked to empanadas alone, so we changed it to Panitas to give greater breadth both to the menu of dishes we prepare and to the public we serve because anyone who wants to eat something divine (regardless of their nationality) is our friend!
That’s how, from that moment on, we set ourselves a challenge: to pay tribute to true Venezuelan food, the kind we find both at home and on the streets of our country, which reminds us of happy afternoons with our grandparents, sharing with friends, and parties of all kinds, big or small, because who can deny that mom’s empanadas are the best?
Auntie’s tequeños or Grandma’s cachapas are a feast in themselves. Every recipe we prepare has a story behind it, a memory we want to share with you, so that you can feel the warmth of a family hug in every bite.
Our promise is simple: to offer our compatriots an experience so genuine that they feel like they are eating at home, and to introduce others to a part of Venezuela’s rich culinary tradition. To achieve this, we all do our part. From the eldest son, who is dedicated body and soul to the project, to our youngest child, who has become the “official taster” and the most demanding quality control. For now, we bring our flavors directly to your home with delivery or pickup service, because the best food, beyond a restaurant, needs a heart that prepares it with care, and we have that in abundance. This is our present, but in the future we will have a physical location where you can come visit us. It will be a place where we can meet, celebrate, and feel at home, remembering the wonderful moments we experienced with our people in our beloved homeland of Venezuela.
